Domestic Travel Study Program


Group photo at BandelierAcademic Programs' Travel Study program provides opportunities for students to study a variety of topics - from studying languages in native countries, to seeing first-hand the people and places talked about in courses.

Travel allows students to gain new perspectives about the world, to immerse themselves in a particular subject of interest and to experience subjects in a way that cannot be attained in a traditional classroom environment.

 

Travel Study Programs Offered

Summer in Santa Fe

Six exciting courses are offered through Summer in Santa Fe.

Participants will:

  • interact with renowned faculty, famous authors and cultural experts while earning college credit or studying as a special student for educational travel

  • experience the cultural heritage of Santa Fe

  • enjoy exquisite dining, shopping, opera, flamenco and more

  • enjoy cultural excursions, the chips and salsa reception and optional morning t’ai chi.

Over 2,100 participants from varied backgrounds have experienced the University of Oklahoma’s Summer in Santa Fe program.

This travel study program is designed for anyone interested in learning more about the intriguing culture, history and arts of the southwest. Come and experience the “City Different.”
