Travel/Maps
Most Oklahoma teachers drive to the Institutes. Driving directions may be acquired on mapquest. The street address for the Forum Building is 1704 Asp Avenue, Norman, OK 73072. Or you can check the OU map or the CCE map for printed directions and a map of the College of Continuing Education area. If you fly, your destination airport will be Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City. One way to get to the campus is to take a blue airport shuttle van. You can pre-arrange your shuttle by contacting them via their Web site: www.taxivan.com or you can just look for the blue vans outside baggage claim at the airport.
Oklahoma AP* Incentive funds will not cover travel expenses. Teachers need to contact their local school districts about the possibility of funding for these expenses.
Parking
Free parking for all participants is available in the lot located south of the Forum Building. College of Continuing Education parking passes will be issued when participants check in for the Institute on Monday morning. Those participating in the Biology class will also receive a temporary, one-week permit for a lot near Richards Hall during the opening session on Monday morning. Note that Biology participants will be required to walk several blocks daily.
